AphasiaToolbox.com and the Aphasia Solutions Network will be at ASHA's 2010 convention in Philadelphia, PA held in the Pennsylvania Convention center November 18-20, 2010. We have a number of different activities planned including:

Title: Client-Driven Online Group Treatment --
Friday, November 19, 2010; 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM; Hall C; This session will present a small group, online model that provides opportunities for people with aphasia (PWA), caregivers/practice coaches, and SLPs to use the group work format to provide affordable treatment and interpersonal engagement on an ongoing basis at affordable prices to PWA in any geographic area.

Title: SLP & Client Benefits From 10 Years of Aphasia Treatment - Thursday, November 18, 2010; 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM; Hall C
This session will discuss a 10-year course of aphasia recovery and explore how this experience benefitted graduate SLP students, researchers, the primary SLP, and, most importantly, the client. A fresh look at the client value and clinician expertise part of evidence-based practice will be examined.

Patient services -- a limited number of appointments for clients to attend Intensive Interval Aphasia Treatment (http://www.aphasiatoolbox.com/?q=iiat ) sessions. Each client may receive a consultation, evaluation, treatment and set-up for ongoing BCAT (http://www.aphasiatoolbox.com/?q=bcat) therapy.
